About Echelon

Marketing operations, treated as a discipline.

We started Echelon because the work that most agencies treat as an afterthought - the funnel, the data, the handoff, the cadence - is the work that decides whether a growth-stage company's marketing actually compounds.

Why the practice exists

Most marketing problems we see at growth-stage companies are not creative problems. They are operational ones. The campaigns are running, the content is going out, the paid spend is moving - but the funnel is a black box, the CRM is full of dead records and conflicting definitions, marketing and sales are arguing about what an MQL actually is, and the head of marketing cannot show the CEO a number she is willing to defend.

Most agencies are not built to fix that. They are creative shops. They are excellent at the work they do and the wrong tool for this work. What growth-stage companies actually need is the same discipline that revenue-operations teams practice in enterprise: clean lifecycle definitions, disciplined data, a defensible reporting layer and a weekly cadence that keeps the whole thing honest. That discipline is what Echelon delivers.

Marketing ops as a discipline, not a side gig

We do one thing. We do not run paid media campaigns, design brand identities, write blog content or book speakers. There are people who are excellent at all of that and we are not them. Our practice is the operational layer that sits underneath all of those activities and decides whether they compound or evaporate.

What that looks like in practice:

Senior-only delivery

Every engagement is run by a senior consultant from diagnosis through handover. We do not pitch with a partner and execute with juniors. We do not rebadge subcontractors. The person who walks you through the diagnostic findings is the same person who builds the new lifecycle architecture and the same person who trains your team on the cadence before we leave.

This is the constraint that defines the practice. It is also the reason we are deliberately small and deliberately selective about who we work with. We would rather turn down an engagement than dilute it.

Where we are based, where we work

Echelon is Florida-based. We work in person across the Southeast for kick-offs, key working sessions and quarterly reviews when that is the right shape, and remotely for the rest of delivery - because marketing-operations work happens inside the stack, and the stack is the same whether we are in your conference room or on a screen-share.

Most of our clients are elsewhere in the country. The work translates.

Discretion is the default

We do not publish client names on a logo wall, post case studies that compromise commercial detail, or trade on referrals without permission. If you want to speak to a previous client before engaging, we'll arrange it directly with their consent. Most of our work is by introduction.

A first call is thirty minutes and ends with a clear view of whether Echelon is the right team and whether a diagnostic is the right next step.
